Chris joined Gribble Churton Taylor Limited in January 2011, having previously been employed by another central city valuation practice. He is involved in a wide range of valuation assignments including market value, rent review and insurance valuation of commercial, industrial and residential property.
Specialisation
His main focus areas include suburban and fringe city valuation of all property types with a specialisation in the following:
High end residential valuations within Auckland’s desirable suburbs, including the eastern and western fringe of the city.
Market value and rental valuations of suburban commercial, industrial and mixed use properties.
Valuation of proposed and new residential developments, both small and large scale.
Long-term residential accommodation, boarding houses, backpackers.
Compensation valuations.
Residential and commercial insurance valuation.
Specialist property value assessments and general consultancy.
Professional Achievement
Graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) majoring in Accounting and a Bachelor of Property (BProp) majoring in valuation in 2006.
Registered Valuer 2013. Advanced to the status of Associate of New Zealand Institute of Valuers (ANZIV) in 2014.
Property Institute of New Zealand and New Zealand Institute of Valuers, Auckland Branch Committee, since 2012.
Personal Interests
Chris is interested in a wide range of sports, with an emphasis on the outdoors, including cricket, rugby, rugby league and golf. He also has a passion for fishing when family life allows the time, and is keen on the horse racing industry including racehorse ownership. He also likes to keep up to date with current affairs and meeting new people.
