Over 20 years experience in a wide range of valuation and consultancy assignments throughout Auckland as well as national projects. Richard was made a Director in 2014.

Richard is a general practitioner covering a broad range of property classes. Particular areas of specialisation include:
Central city commercial and retail property – consultancy, mortgage security, rental review and negotiation and insurance assessments.
A range of market opinions concerning Central and South Auckland industrial properties.
Compensation valuations and consultancy in line with the Public Works Act 1981.
Development funding instructions for a range of mixed use and proposed apartment developments within the central suburbs of Auckland.
Specialist property value assessments and general consultancy.
Residential property assessments throughout the Auckland western city fringe, in particular Herne Bay, Freemans Bay, Ponsonby, Grey Lynn and Westmere, as well as high-end luxury residential properties throughout the North Island.

Certificate of Registration from the Valuers Registration Board – May 2007.
Awarded Fellowship of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers (NZIV) and Property Institute of New Zealand (PINZ) - FNZIV, FPINZ (2020).
University of Auckland Valuation Lecturer – Level 2 and Level 3 – 2012 – 2016.
Formally held a number of positions on the PINZ and NZIV Auckland Branch Committee.
Retained as an expert witness before the High Court, Environment Court, Independent Hearings, Land Valuation Tribunal, appears as an Arbitrator and as an Umpire in a range of arbitral proceedings.
Personal Interests
Outside of his valuation career he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, socialising and meeting new people, and is a keen sports follower, avid fisherman and snow skier. He enjoys travelling in general, and particularly spending downtime in Magical Mangawhai.
